Tailwalk Hi-Tide SSD 90M

This is one of the heavier rods in this range. There are three nine-footers in the Hi-Tide range and this is the middle one of those, rated at 42g, so it gives us a bit of an in-betweener in a way.

It's obviously stiffer in the tip and slightly more powerful than the 90ML, so it's great if you're fishing lots of bigger surface lures and things like that. You've got that extra stiffness and a little bit of extra power just to work a lure a little bit more easily at distance, something like a Patchinko II for example.

Then you've got fishing bigger shads, or fishing rougher seas where the 90ML might just start to struggle a little bit. That's where the 90M can come into its own, especially around the sort of marks where you might be limited with room behind you, so a longer rod isn't necessarily going to help you.
