The Light Shore rod category has advanced beyond our traditional LRF. As anglers specialise, as does our use of particular rods for differing circumstance or species.

True LRF sits at the bottom of it, sub-gram jigheads for whatever will take them, and it runs up through micro jigging and bream rods to the light end of bass work. Most are solid tip, built for feel rather than power.
