About this rod
Precision Japanese bass rods from Zenaq, for fishing that asks a lot of a blank.
The all-round squid rod in the range, and Zenaq build it to stay useful right through the season rather than for one part of it. The action is parabolic - it bends from the butt upwards - so the energy for the snap comes out of the blank rather than out of your arms, which is what makes a long session of working a jig bearable.
Fuji guides carry SiC inserts in titanium frames, with a spigot joint and an EVA grip.
