Zenaq Inqlude IS82-M4 Squid Impact

The Inqlude IS82-M4 Squid Impact might be named as a squid rod, but in the hand it feels like a brilliant all-round bass rod. I used it through an estuary session fishing weighted creature baits in flow, and it was genuinely lovely.

At 8'2", it makes most sense where you can get close to the water and don't need the reach of a longer shore rod. It was right at home keeping contact with a weighted lure through current, fishing creases and working close enough to feel the subtle bumps that can be a take. The action feels familiar to a bass angler too. It doesn't have the unusually soft feel some squid rods can carry.

This is the one I'd look at for estuaries, close-range sight fishing and blind casting through flow. For more length and a broader all-round role, the Inqlude IS89-M5 Master Hand is the sibling to compare. The Squid Impact feels every bit a proper-quality fishing rod.
