I really love this little rod within the range. At 7'6", two-piece and only 88.6g, it's such a physically light rod and so easy to hold, but there's a really surprising amount of power in the butt. I'd love to be flicking light lures around an estuary with it. It's not necessarily steely, none of this range is, but it's got that lush, elastic-y sort of light tip which will make working a soft plastic lure in particular really, really easy. It'll also fish light plugs, light surface lures and anything like that. It's rated 6-40g, although that 40g top end is a metal figure, and it doesn't feel like a rod rated to 40g. The tip feels like it will suit roughly 5-20g lures, then the lovely thin butt kicks in with that surprising amount of power. Around estuary creeks, from a boat, or for wrasse fishing, I think it'll be a great rod anywhere you're fishing relatively close range and not trying to cast a million miles. It's a very sensitive rod that still has that power, and I absolutely love it.
