About this rod
Specialist offshore rods for hiramasa and the larger pelagics, from one of Japan's best makers.
The light-lure rod of the pair, and Zenaq are specific about when you would want it: fish feeding selectively on small bait, or ground under enough pressure that you have to downsize. Lures of 40 to 100g, happiest at 60 to 90g, PE 5-6. An unusually flexible tip for working a small plug properly, over a butt they rate against fish of 30kg and up.
Fuji guides carry SiC inserts in titanium frames, with a put-in joint and an EVA grip.
