About this rod
The lightest and the shortest rod in the RS range, and the one to look at if most of what you are throwing is on the small side. It is a slim thing, and it is not steely - there is that Apia glassiness to it, which is exactly why it casts as well as it does and why it is forgiving enough that you rarely pull a hook out of a fish.
I was honestly doubtful about the 32g rating when they first arrived. Then a customer asked me in the shop whether it would handle a lure comfortably over 30g, I told him I wasn't sure, went out that evening and tried it, and it was perfectly happy. Even so, it is at its best with soft plastics and plugs up to the mid-20s. If you are regularly fishing 25g and above, or you are on surface lures most of the time, the Vivogue 96ML+ or the Lynx 93M will suit you better.
