This one is FUN! This light actioned rod has a surprising amount of umph in it when you put a reel on. It will cast a 32g metal with ease (its max.) but I’d say is best suited to soft plastics, plugs up to just over 25g on the whole. You’d want to jump to either the VIVOGUE 96ML+ or LYNX 93M/SKY HIGH 99M if you’re regularly fishing 25g or more. It’s not the most efficient rod to buy if you’re fishing surface lures 80% of the time, but for everything else, this is one of the best rods I’ve ever handled._x000D_

In its comfort zone though, the SPRINGER is an absolute dream. Not too stiff, it’s on the more unique end of the rod scale. Somehow light, but also fast. I’ve said it before in our first impressions post, but it’s a little like the Tailwalk Hi-Tide TZ in that respect. The SPRINGER is a step up build wise from that though I think. There’s just something about it that while it’s a light rod, feels solid too. I’m confident it’ll land pretty much anything, but the sensitivity with a light lure is off the scale too._x000D_

Absolutely the most versatile medium-light lure rod I’ve ever fished with. Compared to others in its class, it fishes a much wider range of lures with extreme comfort than anything else I’ve ever fished with.
