About this rod
The most powerful of the three Boatgamers we bring in. At 7'2" the length and the power land almost exactly where our inshore boat lads fish: bass, pollack, wrasse, anything close to shore, with a black minnow or something similar at 40 to 60g. The ratings on these are accurate, which isn't always the case. They're not overly powerful and they're not too light either, they're just right for that style of fishing. It's more versatile than the name makes it sound. If you're afloat with any mix of hard and soft lures it'll cover the day. Alongside it the S73M is the lighter, more general option and the S76ML is set up for fall and bottom work, so between them the range has the inshore boat job well covered.
