Tailwalk PowerEye WX8 Braid - Light Blue - #0.6 (14lb) - 150m

For a good few years now this has been one of our best and most reliable braids. There was a time when we stocked a far wider range of braids than we do, and it became obvious we were mostly selling the same ones every week, so those are the ones we looked at properly. Braid is one of those things where almost anything can go wrong and where everybody's preference is built on different experiences, but the Power Eye is pretty much universally approved. Lovely and supple, nice and smooth, and the quality for the money is brilliant.

I don't talk about breaking strains all that often, because they are so inconsistent from one brand to the next. The PE rating is more often than not the easiest way to work out what you actually want.

0.6 PE is the finest of the light blue spools, at the light end of the saltwater fishing this line covers.

The light blue colour is lovely and it does not fade easily. I have spools a couple of years old that are still a nice bright blue - a little fading over time, as you would expect, but they are better than most for it.

The Power Eye WX8 runs from 0.6 to 3 PE on the 150m light blue spools, with a 300m multi-colour version in 1.0 and 1.2.
