I tend to stick to lines manufactured in Japan. This allows me to understand the differences between them more easily. It allows me to find faith and trust in the numbers printed on the spools. And it makes my own fishing easy as well; knowing that a certain PE rating, for example, will match directly to a type of fishing that I do. It makes the whole topic quite simple in reality, but there is so much misinformation out there about fishing lines - some of which is even printed on the spools themselves. So it's my job to be here to try and make things clear for you and ensure that you're fishing with a line that is of good quality and does exactly what you want it to.
