The super finesse weedless hook. A plastic weed guard loops from the eye down to rest on the inside of the point, so it is held clear until a fish closes on it and then folds straight out of the way.

Black matte finish rather than anything bright, which is the right call for a hook fished slowly in clear water on a small bait. Wacky rigged or drop shotted, wherever the cover would ruin an open hook.
