The Chinu is the Japanese black bream pattern — short shank, a strong wide bend and a point turned in towards the eye. It is a bait hook built for fish that suck a bait in and turn, and it holds well in a hard mouth.
This is the ringed version, with an eye rather than a spade, so it takes a knot direct or sits on a rig ring without a whipping. Forged high carbon steel, chemically sharpened, black nickel finish.
