A big eyed sea hook: long straight shank, a deep bend with near-parallel sides, and a long straight point standing in line with the shank. Everything about it is heavy and forged — this is the pattern for fish that pull back, on traces to match.

It starts at size 4 and runs to 8/0, and the pack quantity falls as the hook grows: ten at 4, 2 and 1, seven at 1/0, six at 2/0 and 3/0, five at 4/0 and 5/0, four at 6/0 and three at 8/0. The 4s to 1/0 suit big worm and squid baits; from 3/0 up you are into whole fish baits. Black nickel.
