The Iseama, one of the classic Japanese bait patterns. A forged, eyed hook with a slightly turned-in point and a straight shank — plain, strong and without any of the offset that can twist a bait on the cast.

That strength is why the pattern gets used for carp and for distance work off the beach, where the hook has to survive being launched and then leaned on. Forged high carbon steel, chemically sharpened, black nickel finish.
