Hayabusa FPP Straight

A straight shank flipping and pitching hook with a monofilament loop keeper rather than a barbed one. The loop is the reason to have it: it holds the plastic in place without the sharp edges that tear a soft bait apart after two fish.

The gape-to-shank proportion is set for Texas rigging and punching. The 1/0 to 3/0 sizes are drawn for fluorocarbon in light to medium cover; 4/0 and 5/0 are the heavy cover sizes. A closed ringed eye keeps the line off the wire edge.
