A 2X extra wide gape offset, drawn for baits that are simply too fat for a normal hook. Large shad-style plastics and tube baits both suffer on a standard gape — the body fills the bend and the point never gets past it.

The extra width solves that and nothing else about the hook tries to be clever. Black matte finish. If a bait looks wrong on a standard wide gape, this is the shape it wants.
