When they first became available around a decade ago, they were a breath of fresh air. They jumped in and nailed all of the most important things with lure design.
- Their own U.S.P. Nobody had made a weedless, articulated, natural-looking bass fishing lure before. Fiiish not only started a trend, but went a step further and made their lures so beautiful that anybody who copied the system would automatically look inferior.
- They work. Looking great is one thing, but to maintain sales and create any reputation, it was obviously important that these new lures worked well too. To this day, they are almost unbeatable.
- Great packaging. Like it or not, if you’re running a tackle company you need your products to stand out. At launch it was a simple range focusing solely on the Black Minnow – their original design. Today they cover all kinds of natural looking patterns. For us – being a predominantly saltwater shop – it’s all about sandeels and minnows.
