Unlike any rod I’ve seen before, the multi-piece, multi-length rod feels just like a 2-piece rod. And I’m not lying or exaggerating!
Six and a half sections, the half being a little stubby one, and they mix and match to fish anywhere from 6’8" to 8’4". Four lengths out of one rod — 6’8", 7’1", 8’0" and 8’4" — and each length feels as good as the last. Clever bit of kit.
This is the slightly higher spec model, rated to 35g rather than the 25g of the 84ML. Same rod, just with a bit more power behind it, so it will take bigger soft plastics and heavier metals within its rating. Still only 178g, and despite those extra joints it feels crisp, well balanced and light.
It will suit anglers either at home or abroad, in fresh or salt water. It’s a fast action rod and will be extremely easy to work lures on.
