7' Lure Rod

The mini rod of the range, the 7 footer feels so good in the hand. Super well balanced, flicking small lures around with this one will be a piece of pee. It actually feels pretty powerful, but still carries the fast action of the rest of the range - although not to quite the same degree. Fishing jigheads with soft baits down to around the stated 5g mark, it will prove a very sensitive rod for close range bass or wrasse. Not a weak, super light wand, but an almost perfect soft bait or light plugging rod designed for the UK!

I'd actually love to fish with one of these down on the estuary, standing on a sand bar with water almost reaching my waist - just flicking small surface lures out! Heaven!

NB: For anybody who's unsure, these rods are completely different to the previous AFAW 'Lure & Bait'' rods. They're not an upgrade, but a completely new range of top class, dedicated UK plugging rods.
